As a software testing engineer at VDS, you will have the opportunity to work and experience the fast paced growing environment with great roots in place. Responsibilities
  • Develop testing plans, test cases, scripts and automation based on customers needs and the requirements.
  • Test cases execution of test cases for a defined project scope.
  • Review Team Test Cases.
  • Analyze executed test cases, and troubleshoot failed test cases.
  • Report findings (SW Bugs) on the defects management tool.
  • Consolidate and prepare test reports for customer delivery.
  • Continuously communicate work progress through attendance of daily & weekly project meetings. (Internal and external with other VDS sites).
  • Support his/her colleagues whenever required.
  • Participate in providing software validation project estimations and technical risk assessment.
  • Perform hardware analysis and debugging for the ECU/testing environment on need.
  • Plan and prepare for internal and external audits (e.g. ASPICE audits)
  • Participate in ticket verification and delta tests performed as part of the CICD Strategy
Requirements
Engineering Skills
  • CAPL knowledge
  • Embedded C knowledge is a plus
  • Python Knowledge is a plus
  • Good knowledge in testing techniques is a MUST
  • Fully aware of CI process
  • High debugging and analytical skills
  • Familiar with SMART4 is a plus

Soft Skills
  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
  • Autonomous & Self motivated.
