University Pathways Medical Magnet Academy is looking for a passionate and experienced coach to join our growing team. We are a dynamic, high-energy, and welcoming private soccer club. We are currently looking for an outgoing, positive coach that has experience with students in grades 9-12. This is a part-time position which pays a 5,000 dollar stipend.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting students with homework, study sessions, and daily activities
- Teaching students the game of soccer
- Helping students improve their physical condition
- Helping students feel comfortable in front of the camera (video recording)
- Helping students with homework, study sessions, and daily activities
- Assisting with team building activities (soccer games, team building, etc.)
- Helping students connect with their community (school community)
- Helping students feel comfortable in front of the camera (video recording)
- Assisting with the management of the soccer field and equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience working with students at a school or youth club. This position will require you to work some evenings and weekends.
- Experience teaching soccer to children in grades 6-12. This position will require you to have excellent knowledge of the game of soccer and be able to teach children the game of soccer.
- Experience using video recording equipment (GoPro) to record video footage of students playing the game of soccer. This will require you to have excellent knowledge of video footage and be able to set up and take down cameras where needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $35.39 per hour
