Description: U.S. Army Medicine Civilian Corps is currently seeking to employ Internal Medicine Physician right now, this occupation will be placed in Texas. Academic internist needed to practice the full spectrum of internal medicine in a state-of-the art military medical center with 40 GME programs. Competitive salary that includes a full government services benefit package. Paid malpractice. Practice with any state license. Work with Internal Medicine residents in the largest military residency program in the DoD. Perform a wide range of internal medicine duties to include outpatient clinic, inpatient ward attending, consultative medicine, and staffi! ng resident continuity clinic. Robust staffing, hospitalist se! rvice, and protected teaching time ensures quality of life. Board certified physicians preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Provide a full scope of services.
Provide the full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Provide for medical consultation or referral to other medical professionals within the IACH community.
Assesses and plans therapy for patients in the clinic setting.
Discriminates between normal and abnormal findings in order to make a clinical diagnosis regarding physical, emotional or social disabilities.
Shares call coverage with other Primary Care providers.

Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
Curren! t, unrestricted license (any state)
Board Certified/Eligible
ACLS/BLS Certified
