Min Qualifications
MD degree or equivalent, Board Certified in Cardiology. Must have completed an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship programs.
Salary Range
Commensurate with experience.
Specific Job Related Duties
1. Assist the Division Director to successfully maintain and grow the clinical practice in women’s heart health.
2. See patients in women’s heart health clinics (a total of at least 5 sessions per week).
3. Assist the Division Director to successfully develop a robust referral network and secure referrals from family medicine physicians, internists, and cardiologists in the greater Houston area and beyond.
4. Perform other clinical duties, including inp! atient services, general outpatient clinic, cardiac catheteriz! ation, and cardiac imagining, as assigned by the Director according to the needs of the group.
5. Participate in patient calls as assigned by the Director
6. Attend and actively participate in education activities of UTMB main campuses. Educate Cardiology Fellows, Residents and Interns.
