In Raymondville, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-! time internist to provide preventative and primary medical care for patients at a federally qualified community health center. Must be able to treat patients from a diversity of social and ethnic backgrounds and to work creatively as a member of a health oriented team composed of health professions from a variety of disciplines for the healing and betterment of the center's patients. The physician will also assist with the supervision and teaching of medical students, residents and other allied health professional students. May be asked to participate in educational research activities.
REQUIREMENTS: Graduation with MD from an accredited medical school, completion of approved post-graduate training, and an unrestricted Texas medical license required. Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Board Eligible (with intent to obtain certification within 2 years). Must be current with CPR. Fluent in Spanish preferred. Experience with electronic health records a plus. Salary negotiable, commensurate with experience
