Internal Medicine outpatient clinic in west central Texas is seeking experienced internists and residents for the summer of 2013. Sign-on bonus, relo! cation assistance, resident retention bonus and Texas licensing fee assistance. Multiple positions are available in this growing market. These hospital/employee based positions draw from a population of over 300K from the surrounding communities. This permanent job opportunity will support any special focus interest and provides an above average compensation and benefits. Traditional outpatient schedule with 1 in 4 call coverage with NO hospital coverage. The Hospitalist program will cover all admissions.
West central Texas is a community rich in culture and history, with plenty of fun activities to do in your spare time. Frontier Texas is one of the only museums in the world that has life-size holograph figures, you can experience lives of people who lived and died on the Texas Frontier, simulated wolf attacks, buffalo stampedes and deadly card games. The Abilene Zoo is home to over 500 animals including jaguars, black rhinos, maned wolves and white tigers. There ! are lots of outside activities for the outdoor lover: biking, ! bird watching, camping, dog parks, golf, tennis, horseback riding and water sports. West central Texas is home to over 50 of the world’s smallest horses that reside at the Big Country Miniature Horses farm, which is open to public.
