POOL ATTENDANT | PALIHOUSE WEST HOLLYWOOD
POSITION PROFILE:
The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area, replenishes towels, keeps chairs and tables lined in an orderly fashion and assists guests with any special needs they may have.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains the ambiance and service standards of the hotel throughout the pool experience.
- Offers professional, charismatic, and friendly service tailored to specific guests and their needs.
- Welcomes guests to the pool facility and ensures they have a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Oversees the cleanliness and the daily upkeep of the pool and pool area.
- Ensures guests are aware of all services and activities available at the pool.
- Ensure all guests are either registered hotel guests or have purchased a daily pass.
- Follows departmental policies and procedures.
- Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
- Keeps towel rack fully stocked with fresh pool towels at all times.
- Removes all used towels from unoccupied chaise lounges & replenishes with new towels.
- Responsible for washing, folding, and distributing towels to the pool area.
- Understands the operation of washing machines and dryers.
- Pre-treats all stained towels before washing.
- Identifies worn and torn towels and removes from circulation.
- Removes trash & debris from pool and surrounding areas.
- Sweeps pool deck and dining areas of the pool.
- Wipes down tables and chairs as needed.
- Communicates all maintenance needs to the engineering team.
- Must have strong attention to detail with the ability to handle the fast pace environment and effectively manage the pool area to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned by the managers or supervisors.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
- All colleagues must maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided).
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum one-year experience in a similar hotel position.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 25lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- Must be willing and able to work shift duties that will include weekends and holidays.
