Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) is seeking an Information Technology Engineer who can design, develop, analyze, and test software systems (Web / Mobile applications) as a full-stack developer.

You will design, create, code, implement, and improve various software applications, databases, to provide a functional, seamless experience for the end-user. You need to have cross-discipline development skills involving front and back-end to create software, applications, and scalable web services, while also provide leadership for teams as a Scrum Master. Also, you will be required to work in teams alongside front end and back-end developers, UX/UI designers, product manager, and product owner to ensure all elements of Web creations are consistent.
This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This role is fundamental to the successful growth of the team and it will require you to work both proactively and autonomously with a diverse team of colleagues and partners with varying experience across different business areas, domains and backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
Understand and identify the user’s strivings, needs, goals, behavior patterns, and model scenarios of user’s interaction
Define and validate requirements for new and revised software systems
Research, analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, improve software, Web / Mobile applications
Write clean code for the front and back end of the software
Design user interactions on the web application itself
Create servers and databases for the back end of the software
Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimization
Test and maintain the responsive design of applications
Develop APIs and RESTful services
Keep up with technological advances to optimize their software
Develop and deploy new or revised processes in support of new computing systems, including documentation and training
Determine the structure and design of Web pages / Applications
Troubleshoot user problems related to software or processes
Develop system integration strategies and architectures that promote use of common tools and processes
Optimize Web/ Mobile applications across different platforms, including laptops and smartphones for maximum speed and scalability
Run tests to ensure code strings perform the correct functions
Develop features to enhance the user experience
Consider security, maintenance, scalability, and more when developing
Compiles and analyzes data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with the front-end, back-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
Develop ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends
Record data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership
Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members
Take lead on projects as a Scrum Master as needed
Create a more seamless experience for users
Required Qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer science or related field
Understanding of key design principles
Fluency or understanding of specific languages, such as Java, PHP, or Python, HTML, C++, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL Query are required
Fluency or understanding of database management systems, operating systems, and CI (Continuous integration) / CD (Continuous delivery) are required
Experience with Software for graphic design, prototyping, wireframing applications
Experience with responsive and adaptive design
Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement
Excellent project and time management skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications and experience:
Experience in some of following areas: Aerospace, Product Development, Manufacturing System & Technology, Smart Factory, Lean, Software Integration, Communications Systems and Networks, Data Analytics and Information Management, awareness of Product Safety and Certification.
