This position is the primary sales specification position within the organization for Small & Medium Contractors. Responsible for identifying Small & Medium Contractors, developing customers and helping with the selling of Schneider Electric Offers. The position is responsible for using excellent product and customer knowledge to educate customers on pricing and application competitive advantages and how they meet the customer's needs. This position is responsible for identify the scope of work, estimate and sell Schneider Electric Offers and solutions.

The Sales Specifier position develops new sales opportunities and addresses and services the needs of established accounts, utilizes excellent products/solutions/services and customer knowledge to educate customers on pricing and application advantages, and how they meet customer's needs. Key asset to identify new Small & Medium Contractors and develop current contractors.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Identifies and contacts potential customers or prospects, either existing or new.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through timely communication, problem- solving attitude, being proactively helpful and providing knowledgeable and resourceful resources.
• Utilizes BFO (Salesforce.com) for sales funnel management and Account Planning.
• Prepares simple budgetary proposals or coordinate more complex proposals with internal quotation teams.
• Give support to Contractor Sales team to attend customers’ needs timely.
• Provides mentoring, coaching and guidance to customers on Schneider Electric´s solutions (products, services, digital offers)
• Coordinates and/or attends trade shows and marketing/sales seminars as needed.

• Give feedback to the Business Developing Team with customer´s offers feedback and needs.

Main interactions:

Small & Medium Contractors, Design Firms, Distributors, Sales Teams, Business developers.

This job might be for you if You fit the following Requirements:

Education / Skills:

• The successful candidate could be a recent graduate from mechatronics, industrial, mechanical, physics or electrical engineering. Technical careers are considered.

• Or 1 to 3 years of technical sales experience; Inside sales or Customer Care Center experience is a plus

• Knowledge of MV & LV Electrical Distribution solutions.

• Proficiency on electric diagrams interpretation.

• Knowledge of local and international codes & standards (NEMA, UL, IEC, NOMs).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- English intermediate - advanced level (spoken & written).

• Skills: innovation, simplicity, organization.

• This job is mainly telecommuting.

- Scope of work: Mexico- north region ( Nuevo León, Coahuila, Chihuahua, Sonora, etc.)
