Austin Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center (AVES) is seeking a skilled veterinary technician to join our Internal Medicine Department.
You will work with a board certified Veterinary Internist and other specialists, and patient care personnel who provide excellent client service and the highest standard of patient care.
Desirable aptitude:

- excellent multi-tasking abilities
- exemplary communication skills
Skill set to include (but not be limited to):
- intravenous catheter placement
- venipuncture
- anesthesia monitoring
- drug dose calculations
- strong interest in internal medicine.
Looking for applicants with at least 2 years of veterinary patient handling experience (preferably with a veterinary specialty or emergency hospital)
