Provide a focused approach to developing new and under-penetrated markets, key opinion leaders, and targeted accounts to achieve sales revenue targets and grow market size/share for a specified region, by promoting, s elling and servicing our products and therapies. Provide detailed technical and clinical support for vascular products and procedures to physicians and support staff. Support sales representatives with execution of key sales and marketing programs. Prioritize and develop corporate relationships with vascular fellows and fellowships programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for working with field sales and corporate teams to identify, create, prioritize, and pursue market development opportunities and patient awareness campaigns. Will work closely with sales reps and new customers to remove barriers to growing their practices.
Develops under-penetrated geographies and markets by making sales calls, coordinating physician training and support, and educating referring physicians on our therapies.
Work directly with referring physician specialties such as podiatrists, internists, primary physicians and endocrinologists to educate them on disease state a nd treatment options for PAD with a direct focus on the continuum of care.
Responsible for servicing and supporting key accounts as determined by the Regional Sales Manager. Primary focus on working with sales representatives to ensure key sales and marketing support programs are being executed in these accounts.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with key customers and influential thought leaders, with specific emphasis on establishing long-term relationships between corporate and vascular fellows from training through transition into practice.
Partner with marketing and clinical education to coordinate local physician training, new product in- services, launch events, educational programs, and dissemination of practice economics information to physician base.
Provide advanced clinical and technical support for coverage of relevant procedures. Educate physicians and support staff on product instructions for use, troubleshooting, clinical data, ind ustry news, and relevant competitive positioning.
Support sales and marketing programs and strategies; working with sales representatives and managers to achieve quarterly business objectives.
Assist with new hire training and support on selling strategies and marketing programs.
Coordinate and execute regional sales training meetings as needed to roll out new sales and marketing programs and initiatives in support of our field strategies.
Provide quarterly summaries of performance to objectives, and attend quarterly performance reviews with RM.

MUST HAVE:
AA or RT Degree Required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3-5 years of medical devices experience preferred; relevant industry, marketing, or medical education experience considered.
Medical industry device knowledge
Basic understanding of radiology procedures, anatomy, physiology
Computer skills, word processing, spreadsheets

NICE TO HAVE:
Experience s elling medical devices in Neurovascular space
Ability to become proficient in clinical and technical product and procedure knowledge, as well as a clear understanding of how to properly function within an office or hospital based operating room or cath lab setting.
Ability to inspire customer confidence and provide excellent case support during surgical procedures.
Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Strong project management skills and experience coordinating and executing marketing programs.
Ability to coordinate/participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Strong work ethic.
Confidence, high energy, and persuasiveness with proven ability to work independently and in team setting.
Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures and the medical device indust ry.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to effectively build and maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across organizational levels.
Ability to travel 70% of the time. This position is field-based.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile.
The employee is also required to interact with a computer, and communicate with peers and co-workers.
Able to lift 25+ pounds.
Able to work extended periods of time doing computer-based work.
Must be able to travel independently to various Medtronic buildings, sites, events, etc.
