Internist - Physician - (Internal Medicine) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Board Certified or Board Eligible, Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician to cover as soon as privileged for 6 month with option to extend another 6 months. Work hours are M-F 8a-4:30pm. Outpatient coverage in a clinic setting. No Call. Ability to perform initial histories and physical exams on outpatients with chronic & multiple medical problems; make! assessments & use appropriate diagnosis evaluations; and impl! ement timely & appropriate treatment. Competent to provide Ophthalmoscope exam, ENT evaluation, paracentesis (including abdominal), injections, breast examination, pelvic examination & pap smear including wet mount. Venipuncture, rectal examination & guaiac examination, prostate examinations. Order diagnostic studies & interpret lab tests, EKG, & Radiology diagnostic tests (CXR, CT Scan, MRI). Prescribe & refill medications. Oversee PA's and NP's. Must have BCLS, and have computer skills site uses computerized medical records system.
