Internist - Physician - (Internal Medicine) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shif! ts: 8 Hour/Day
Board Certified or Board Eligible, Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician to coverage asap for the period of 6 month with option to extend another 6 months. Work hours are M-F 8a-4:30pm. Outpatient coverage in a clinic setting. No Call. Ability to perform initial histories and physical exams on outpatients with chronic & multiple medical problems; make assessments & use appropriate diagnosis evaluations; and implement timely & appropriate treatment. Competent to provide ophthalmoscopic exam, ENT evaluation, paracentesis (including abdominal), injections, breat examination, pelvic examination & pap smear including wet mount. Venipurcture, rectal examination & guaiac examination, prostate examinations. Order diagnostic studies & interpret lab tests, EKG, & Radiolgy diagnostice tests (CXR, CT Scan, MRI). Prescribe & refill medications. Oversee PA's and NP's. Must have BCLS, and have computer skills site uses computerized medical records system. !
