POSITION SUMMARY:
The perfect candidate for the Medical Sales Consultant will utilize personal skills and technical knowledge to build and maintain relationships with medical facilities staff in assigned market which result in profit and net sales growth and achievement of product and category objectives within assigned accounts and market. The position has the potential to lead to partnership after demonstrating the appropriate skills and qualifications.

PRIMARY CUSTOMERS and EXPECTATIONS: Private Medical Clinics, Family Practices, Internists, Orthopedic Offices, Pain Management Offices The Consultant also actively participates in the identification of customer objectives and new opportunities. The Consultant is responsible for the achievement of specific sales and business objectives within assigned healthcare accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with key physicians, clinicians, department decision makers and/or administrators
• Major contract negotiations.
• Tactical implementation of sales activities to achieve business objectives
• Actively participating with IMM in the strategic and tactical planning process

The major challenges of the role include:

• Interacting with multiple decision makers and influencers within facilities/departments
• Developing and maintaining accounts
• Effectively dealing with geographic dispersal of assigned facilities
• Maintaining frequent 2-way communications with IMM
• Consistently achieve the sales results.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2-3 years of demonstrated success in Healthcare industry related sales experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum 3-5 years sales experience in any industry.
